Retro Tropics Inspired Elopement with a Marvelous View

Today’s retro tropics inspired elopement from Alexes Lauren Photography took place at a private estate overlooking the orange groves of California. So first of all, imagine that citrus smell! We were immediately drawn in by the vintage camper playing dress-up with boho flair – not to mention the candy machine filled with salted snacks. The bride’s gown boasted a plunging illusion bodice, and the combination of peonies, proteas and dahlias in her bouquet is pure magic! You’re not gonna want to miss this one, folks!

This shoot was inspired by bringing the Palm Springs vibe together with the beautiful wine country. Temecula is known for their ranch-style weddings, and we wanted to show that you don’t have to go to the desert to get that retro/boho feeling. We added a candy machine to our shoot to give it that salty to our sweet taste, because who doesn’t like a candy machine filled with salty goods? We had so many great vendors involved and the location was at a private estate that overlooked the orange groves of De Luz, California. The models are actually a married couple and it was sweet to see them work together and love on each other throughout the entire process. We are all extremely proud and excited that this styled shoot was such a beautiful success. Each and every vendor added their own special touch and we wanted everyone to have complete artistic freedom with their ideas. We also had a videographer and She really took our idea and ran with it.
