I am totally digging this idea. The bottles are so cute – I want to buy them to use for lots of things! Like holding my jewelry supplies.
Already in love with your site! I found you via She Paperie, and I am now a new follower.
I look forward to the upcoming inspiration….

oh my gosh… unbelievably adorable! such a sweet take home..
I like the labels a lot! Bees are fun
great idea, I was just in mexico and saw some of these small bottles at a boutique distillery.
This is an awesome idea. My in-laws have their ruby anniversary coming up and I think they’ll love this.
Hi, how do I edit the labels? I downloaded the pdf but was unable to edit. Thank you for posting. I love this idea. My fiance and I are getting married in Cancun. We thought of buying Patron mini-bottles and placing our ribbon color around them with Thank-Yous but I was concerned about the children who would be at our wedding. Thank you again for the agave syrup idea!!!
@Rishel make sure you have Adobe. It can be downloaded for free here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/ Once you download our template, each label will show two blue rectangles – one at the top and one at the bottom of each label. Mouse over these fields and you should be able to add text.
Hope this helps!
I LOVE the mini pastel flags in the photos. Can you tell me where they’re from?
Hi Tricia,
The mini flags were a quick DIY. I saw the instructions on Martha Stewart. Just cut a small rectangle and fold into 1/4 inch wide folds. Then using a hole punch or scissors, cut a few shapes and a scallop at one of the ends. Here I used a hole punch for the round holes, and scissors for the sharp edge holes.
Hope this helps!

This is such a great idea! I wish I would’ve had this information before my wedding I am a patron lover! Now I am going to have to have a fiesta for my friends with these partying gifts 🙂
Oh, my goodness! We are making these little fellas for our wedding favors and they just couldn’t be more perfect!!
Thank you sooo much for the idea!
This is perfect! We’re having our wedding May 5, 2012. Cinco de Mayo! I didn’t want to have a total mexican theme, but we are going to have a signature cocktail that’s some sort of margarita and these would make a perfect favor!
I love this idea! Please tell me what type of labels you used. Avery has so many sizes to choose from..
Karin,
I just bought full sheet labels (8.5″ x 11″) at Staples, then cut them to size with a paper cutter. Hope this helps!
I love this idea for my May 5th wedding! How many bottles of tequila did it take to fill up each mini bottle?
Thanks!
can these have personalized for wedding
I love the idea.. where are these bottles from? x
Wish I had known about these a few weeks ago! I would have definitely done this for our March 31st wedding!!!!!
Where can i find bottles like these??
Hi, can you please tell me where I can buy the mini bottles and the agave syrup?
Thanks!
Love these! Can you tell me what font the “gracias” is in?
Many thanks,
I like the idea, but I wouldn’t know where to start looking for the bottles or syrup. Can you help? thanks
Okay so I just ordered the bottles and my personal advice is that they are too big! They each hold 210 ml. An average hotel bottle of tequila is 50 ml., so it’s more than twice. Just think you are going to have to buy a whole lot of teqila to fill them. They are very cute though, so now we are just going to use one per couple and it will double as their place card. I would recommend using Patron, since the bottle is from the same logo as Patron, however, if you’re on a budget, just use the cheap stuff, whose going to notice/
I want to do this but we are having a destination wedding in Mexico and we will fill them there but I am wondering if people don’t want to drink it/use it (agave) there. will they be able to bring it home? I am thinking probably not, if anyone can weigh in I would love it! 🙂
I love this idea, but would really like to change “Gracias” to something else so I can use these for my birthday. I’m planning on making margaritas and serving them with mini taco bites (discard the cork and insert straw). So, is there a way to edit the middle section as well? Thanks! 🙂
I love this idea! I’m having a a destination wedding in cancun, this would be great! Where can I get these bottles???? Thanks! 🙂
For any Cdnbrides, they sell sets of these bottles $39 .99 for 30 at Michaels craft store. They are about 45 ml I think. Perfect for this, I think we might do this for our dest wedding, and do little tins of margarita rimmer!
This is a great blog, full of useful information but mostly I wanted to say kudos for this post. Not only is the gift idea for a Mexican Wedding favor a good one but simply to offering info like this a good idea in itself.
I love the DIY tequila bottle idea (I just used 50 ml Patron for daughter’s wedding and way too expensive to repeat), so I want to buy the labels (Avery or Generic) but don’t know what template # to use. Does anyone have this information? Thx.
Hi there! Where do you buy the agave honey?
I would like more information on the minature mexican tequila bottles. If I would order 200 bottles how much of a discount would I revive?
What type of label is this? Avery? Love this!
I mean – seriously?!!!! I just did this and it was SO EASY!! All thanks to you!!! And – thank you for answering others questions too – that helps so much!!
SO super thankful!!
I love this idea! Thank you so much for sharing. I do have a quick question on the labels. What type of paper and printer do you recommend using to print? Is this something that a Kinkos could help with? I was thinking of using this paper, but wanted to be sure what you recommend before moving forward. Thank you! https://www.amazon.com/Avery-Full-Sheet-Printers-11-Inches-18665/dp/B002NEGTBU
Couldn’t find them at Michaels. (the bottles) Could someone PLEASE tell me where I can get the bottles. My brothers bride to be is disappointed we couldn’t get tequila bottles sent from Mexico. This would make her very happy.
We bought the Mini-Patron bottles at a liquor store. They are in with the shooters.
I love this! I totally want to do this…where did you print them? On what type of paper/stickers? Thanks!
How or where can i find one for jack daniels labels? Any ideas how to create one or find one .
Hello! I love your label but i need it smaller for the mini patron bottles. Do you have it saved in a doc format? Could you please provide it. thank you so much!
