Tropical Wedding in Southern California with a Modern Twist

It all started with a pineapple. After Ameer proposed to Jen in Hawaii with a crystal pineapple, it was clear the tropical vibes were going to define the theme of the wedding. With a modern twist, Sweet Events by Anh used tropical palm fronds and vibrant yellow hues to bring their wedding vision to life in Southern California and we are loving every gorgeous photo by Arina B. From the photographer, Arina B. Photography: I was absolutely in love with Jen’s and Ameer’s wedding styling! Ameer actually proposed to Jen in Hawaii. He placed the ring in a crystal pineapple as a ring box and that’s how the theme for the wedding was born: tropical greens and pineapple yellow colors.

Venue by 3 Petals was a perfect modern and clean stage for the theme, and it made for very airy and colorful photography. My favorite part of ceremony was the unforgettable arch by The ALTARnative because it was so unique and fun, and florist Flora & Flour dressed it up just perfectly! It was the perfect combination of modern shapes and natural accents in front of simple white walls of the venue.
