Handmade Forest Wedding
A ceremony nestled in amongst the California redwoods? How lovely! Joel Flory sent over this charming wedding with sweet honey bee details all put together by the bride. Be sure to check out the gallery for more images.
From the couple. On the wedding day, we had 70 guests at UC Berkley Botanical Garden. We wanted to have a simple and sweet Garden Wedding that showed off our creative personalities. Having the ceremony in a redwood grove was ideal for us because we both take great pride in the beauty of California. It just seemed like this little magical place.
The reception featured a Cotton Candy Marker, Slushie Machine, and Juke Box. Most of the details kept to a Bee/Honey theme. It was catered by Barbra Llewellyn, and the food was amazing! They also did the cake, which was served with dark chocolate covered honey comb, and a custom Honey flavor ice cream from Tucker’s Ice Cream. The cake topper was made by the Bride and featured special things from the couples’ seven year history.
The wedding dress was made by the bride’s Mom. Janie designed the dress, a gold sequin gown with a romantic cream sheer over the top. The bride made the hair pieces.

Super cute, great photos!!!
This outdoor wedding is absolutely lovely. It reminds me of this movie I just saw called White Wedding. The wedding is set against the beautiful landscapes of South Africa. It’s just lovely seeing the beauty of nature come out in a wedding ceremony. https://whiteweddingmovie.com/
