Prospect House Wedding Inspiration With An Ethereal Yellow Palette
Some people find joy in walks through nature, others through nostalgic tunes and others when met with cheery yellow hues. Well we’re firm believers in the psychology of color after experiencing all the happy thoughts perusing this Prospect House wedding inspiration with nuanced layers of this sunshiney hue. The ethereal concept from 36th Street Events is evoking all the right emotions through velvety backdrops, lucite dining chairs, rust colored menus and a rice paper adorned cake. Of course, lunaria played a central role in the floral magic from Remi & Gold, inspiring everything from the ceremony vignette to the floral chandelier over the tablescape. Jenna McElroy captured each luminous detail with artistry and grace, and we cannot wait for you to explore this heart-happy gallery in full below.
From the Photographer, Jenna McElroy: For the design of this shoot, Beth of 36th Street Events, and I wanted to compliment romantic with modern. We were inspired by the glowing, warm, golden tones of Autumn for this incredible editorial. We wanted to showcase a luxurious wedding at a venue that is the perfect beautiful blank canvas- Prospect House. The modern venue overlooks views of the hill country and we wanted to complement it’s modern white walls, with romantic, overflowing florals. For the ceremony space, we added a long velvet draping paired with the gorgeous hanging white florals by Remi & Gold for the perfect ceremony spot.
It was important for us to keep the table design simple and clean as we wanted the focus to be the beautiful overhanging golden and yellow florals by Remi & Gold. The plates, plates, cups and modern candle tapers from Table Manners were ideal for the aesthetic. Remi & Gold stunned with a floral centerpiece that was the flawless addition of color and movement to our minimal design.
The couple was absolutely stunning and brought together a romantic chemistry that was the perfect touch to this Autumn shoot.
The cake was an absolute stunning creation by Simply Delicious Custom Cakes, and paired with champagne and intricate and delicate desserts by Bonjour Brigadeiro. The minimal invitation by Ivelisse Designs was perfectly styled with florals to tie together the minimal romance of the shoot.
This inspiration shoot was a reminder of the beauty, and creativity can bring with a new season.
