Lace. Doilies. Oh My!
Ok, I love lace. It is beautiful and vintage. Lace can take on a life of its own and when used as a design element can add whimsy to even the most drab fabric, table, paper, what have you. It is so versatile and I might be a little obsessed with how I can incorporate it into my wedding!
I am already using paper doilies on my DIY invites (the inspiration to which will be pictured below). I also plan to use lace doilies on the tables, paper lace doily garlands, lace wrapped mason jars… I think you get the idea. So this post I don’t plan to bore you with my ranting about lace and how much I love it (wait, is it to late for that?) but rather, post some of my personal favorite inspirational pictures. I love these images and have been tremendously inspired by them. I hope you are too!

And this is just the tip of the lovely lace iceberg!
Do you love lace? How are you incorporating it into your wedding?
OHHH I share your obsession for lace as well. Seriously, it is absolutely gorgeous. I just bought my dress: French lace from head to toe… I feel like I won’t want to take it off! My wedding will be decorated in Mason jars and the crocheted lace around the jars is genius. I may be taking that idea with me 🙂 I am also doing my Thank You cards with eyelet paper (well I am actually handmaking a few series of cards, the eyelets are one of my series). By the way, your blog is amazing. Please keep the posts coming, I am in love!
What is old is new… again. This is a perfect collection of ideas for lace doilies – your blog always makes my day! Love the luminaries.
great post!! anyone have a good resource for where to buy lace doilies for table settings in bulk?
