Vintage Wedding at Gramercy Park Hotel
All you vintage-loving brides out there, listen up. This wedding (from the incomparable team of Lev Kuperman and Violet and Verde) is where it’s at. Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City was the absolute perfect venue to complement the couple’s vision, and these high school sweethearts ended up with a wedding for the ages!
From the florist, Bridget of Violet and Verde: Melanie was an absolute dream to work with. She was, by far, the most upbeat, sweet, and happy bride and with Mitchell, having been a couple since high school, they were just perfect together and complemented each other so well. They had a clear vision from our first meeting of what they wanted for florals – shades of pinks, reds, and whites without looking too holiday and using a more vintage aesthetic to complement the beautiful venue.
We chose anemones, peonies, ranunculus, roses, paper whites, cosmos and sweet peas to fill the bouquets and tables. Brass lanterns, mercury glass vases, and vintage votives and bottles lined the tables with more flowers placed throughout the tables. Each place setting was adorned with a single colorful bloom for guests. Lush vines and foliage paired with assorted lanterns created a romantic backdrop to their rooftop ceremony. It was truly a beautiful day for such a wonderful couple!
Very nice photos,
