Fairmont San Francisco Wedding

Newlyweds Erin and Tom wanted their wedding day to be two things: 1) classic, and 2) an embodiment of the spirit of San Francisco. This goal resulted in a romantic and relaxed aesthetic with heaps of fun pops of gold and navy. It’s a pretty obvious given that any wedding sent our way from Delbarr Moradi and styled by Jacin of Lovely Little Details is going to be a winner, so let’s move on to the eye candy:

From the bride, Erin: We wanted our wedding to have a classic feel, so when we look at our album in 30 years, hopefully we won’t be like, “what were we thinking?!” It was also important to us that our wedding embody San Francisco, as most of our guests were flying in from the east coast, and many had never been to San Fran before.

I’d describe the look of our wedding as feminine, romantic and fun. Our colors were navy, lavender, and creams with pops of gold. My husband and I fell in love with the historic elegance and magnificent views at the Fairmont. It was the perfect quintessential San Francisco backdrop for what we hoped would be a classic, elegant, and most importantly, fun wedding. I had a blast planning our wedding and a lot of the details and colors were inspired by the Fairmont. We worked with fabulous vendors that made it all come together. I think our guests had a genuinely good time, and thoroughly enjoyed the details of the day, which was what we were hoping for.

Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? I’d definitely recommend working with a wedding planner. It was a huge relief knowing that on our wedding day, everything was being handled by somebody else. I was able to enjoy the day with my husband, family and friends.
