Lilac & Cream Wedding In A Minimalist Vancouver Loft Venue
We’re flirting with pastels again after seeing Fionn and Andrew’s charming micro wedding in a minimalist Vancouver loft venue. Save their love for one another, less was truly more in this soft and poetic I Do spree. If the vendor team didn’t get the memo from Elyse & Co., then we certainly didn’t notice, for the cream velvet lounges and vintage walnut writing desk and metallic gold accents fit the design brief to a T. Enchanted Atelier flooded the minimalist loft scene with cool pastels in fluffy textures, bedecking everything from a romantic arch ceremony backdrop to a suspended floral install haloing the lounge. The aesthetic couldn’t have been better suited to the intimate guest count, further proving that microweddings can give you unlimited potential for expression. Chuunice Photography detailed every darling moment with grace and composure, and we are oh-so-ready for her pixel dust to finally cascade upon you too!
Fionn and Andrew had plans to get married in Italy; however, COVID had other plans and they had postponed and postponed, and finally decided to get married in BC instead. With health concerns in elders in the family, we wanted to create a romantic, fun and modern, but also intimate microwedding at the Wallace venue in North Vancouver, Canada. We created three distinct spaces for the wedding: a ceremonial arch, a lounge area with a floating floral display, and canapes and cocktail tables for guests to mingle.
From the Bride: I loved that we had a small, intimate wedding. We were able to truly be in the moment and enjoy all the little details. It was so special to be surrounded by our closest family and friends. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. A moment I’ll never forget is walking into the ceremony space for the very first time, taking in the beautiful florals hanging from the ceiling and covering the arch, and that electric feeling knowing that my husband was there, waiting to marry me.
This minimalist Vancouver loft venue couldn’t have fit the bill any better, and if you think you recognize it from a past feature, then indeed my friend, you do. I’m not saying I prefer microweddings, but I’m not not saying that either. Take this Tuscan-inspired autumn wedding for example… or this Seattle celebration overflowing with blossoms + blueberries. Point is – quality rules over quantity, and Fionn & Andrew can attest!
