DIY Star Champagne Flutes
Now that you have confetti gift packaging, decorate a cake and have garlands galore for your glam constellation NYE party, it’s time to think about the drinks. These DIY Star champagne flutes will dress up your bubbly.
- Fiskars 1/4″ Star Hand Punch
- Gold spray paint
- Champagne flutes
- Masking tape
This project is based on this DIY Confetti Bottles I made ages ago. It’s been such a popular DIY, that I wanted to make this version of Champagne flutes inspired by Anthropologie. These tiny hand punches have cushioned handles that are comfortable to use so you can prep several of these flutes in one fell swoop. Its confetti catcher holds all clippings, which will get sticky once you have made a fair amount of progress by punching shapes on the masking tape so you will want them nicely stored away 🙂
Punch away these mini star shapes on a strip of masking tape and place it around the bottom of your flutes. Mask off everything else you don’t want the paint to get on (including the bottom) and add a light coat of gold spray paint.
