DIY Rice Paper Lanterns with Creativebug
Earlier this month we announced we’re partnering with Creativebug to bring you a series of DIY projects brought to life inspired by their classes, and we’re thrilled to share our first one today! This DIY was inspired by this rice paper lanterns class, and you can sign up for a free trial here.
As we mentioned earlier, Creativebug is THE destination for DIY classes made so easy, you have no excuse not to try them for yourself! Even better, you can gather a group of friends, some wine and hors d’oeuvres, and make a night of it while you tackle your wedding decor with extra helping hands. Oh, and did we mention you can sign up for a free trial? You’ll get access to over 700 classes, with the ability to save one class to your library even if you choose to cancel. To keep the fun times coming, it’s only $4.95 a month for unlimited access! Gina Paola Design created these ceremony lanterns (shot by Jonica Moore) from this class, which would look great for home too.

these are so beautiful! I really want to try adding them to one of my paper flower backdrops for an extra unique look. 🙂
What did you use to paint the lanterns? I’ve tried figuring it out, but I just can’t put my finger on it!
