DIY Pom Pom Table Runner
What’s not to love about this tutorial from Cloud Parade? It’s an easy yet gorgeous DIY pom pom table runner that uses only two or three supplies. The yarn can be glued down to the burlap, or simply placed on top so that both products can be reused!
For this project, you will need:
-burlap
-5 rad yarns that go with your color scheme (or however many you’d like)
Note: the burlap and yarn needs to be as long as your table; add a foot or two extra to flow nicely off the ends of your table.
Instructions:
1. Lay out burlap to be the base of the runner. Tip: We kept it folded to give it a width of about a foot.
2. Cut the burlap and the strings of yarn to desired length. Don’t forget to add about two feet on the ends of each side of the table so that it flows off the table nicely.
3. Line up each string of yarn onto burlap. Now your tablescape is off to a fabulous start with a cute and simple table runner!
Very cute idea. I love it. Especially because I use a burlap-y table runner all the time and I’m so tired of it. I’ll have to jazz it up a little.
