DIY Matisse Inspired Wall Hanging
It’s #WeddingWednesday, so what better time to share a great DIY project? We’ve partnered up with Fiskars to bring you this modern backdrop installation, perfect for your ceremony or any wall in your home! Inspired by the abstract shapes popular in Matisse’s artwork, we created our own abstract masterpiece you can easily replicate in a day. Thank you to Opal+Rose Photo for capturing the images!
For this project, you will need:
– Fiskars Easy Change Detail Knife
– Fiskars Amplify Mixed Media Scissors
– Fiskars Cutting Mat
– Leather
– Card stock
– Thin plywood or birch veneer
– Cotton rope
– Wooden dowel
– Paint and paint brushes
