Statement from the wedding planner, Laura Bravi Events: Julia and Flo opened up with their tremendous vision for a fun laid-back but impressively stylish wedding a year before their event. They came from Munich, Germany and would be in Italy with a small group of about 60 people including close family members and friends to celebrate their special day together. They truly wanted a nice and unique villa that gave a homey vibe, a boho feel, and eye-catching decor. They visualized of industrial elements situated side by side added with romantic influences and an overall wild and cool look. Finally, they have chosen a beautiful Villa situated on the border of the Chianti region, surrounded by woods, olive grooves, and a fantastic amphitheater perfect for their wedding ceremony. The villa served as their celebration’s base point as they spent three wonderful days with their guests. They even had an aperitivo with a buffet in the town of Montevarchi, built from an old mill, and the wedding happened at the Villa the next day. The celebration ended with a fun lunch poolside the day after the wedding. As they bid goodbye to their loved ones, the fun atmosphere remained.

Julia and Flo prepared with their girls and boys in an emotional yet chill atmosphere, separately in the Villa. When Julia finally walked down the aisle with her dad, to the notes of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, everything were made real and intensely romantic. The ceremony was presided by a long time family friend in German. Though I could’t understand German language, I can feel the genuine emotions as everyone poured out their tears of joy for the bride and groom. After the ceremony, a poolside party took place where drinks and canapes were served. Dinner followed, at those elegant long tables decorated with simple yet wild greenery and gold candle holders. The mixed matched chairs from the Villa and the caterer were superb. We rented two special industrial chairs for the bride and the groom. Strings of vintage lights hanging over the tables added a more romantic feeling. Simply breathtaking! Tuscan style meals were truly delightful along with their loved ones speeches followed by a fun dance party that went on til morning. Clear wine glasses complimenting the rustic table setup.

Indeed, it was a special day. It felt like a dream but it was real. Flo and Julia were overwhelmed with happiness, their dazzling attire choices were so stylish, the genuine connection between them and their loved ones made everybody felt at home and brought life to an unforgettable wedding celebration that I am so proud to have planned! We all worked hard, in partnership with Francesco at La Selva Giardino di Belvedere, to make sure that everything’s organized on that special day. Nastja Kovacec captured great pictures of the said event. A perfect shot of the couple’s kiss in their dreamy wedding reception setup.
