From Costanza Giaconi of Bianco Bouquet:
“Volare oh, oh
Cantare oh, oh, oh
Nel blu dipinto di blu
Felice di stare lassù
E volavo, volavo felice più in alto del sole
Ed ancora più su
Mentre il mondo pian piano spariva lontano laggiù
Una musica dolce suonava soltanto per me”

Close your eyes, image two young lovers running after each other in a labyrinth, a clear sky, and the Tuscan countryside: welcome to “Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu” (“In The Blue Painted Blue”) wedding dream!
“Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu” is an Italian song famous worldwide. We got inspired by this love song – a symbol of lightheartedness – to realized a styled shoot that could represent a modern fairytale set in Tuscany. Dusty blue and “lightness” are the main characters of our wedding, indeed. You can find them in the palette, as well as in the stunning Berta Bridal “wings” and in our lovers’ laughs.

We chose Castello di Casole – a “borgo” transformed into a luxury hotel – as a wedding venue because of the speechless countryside that surrounds it. Not to mention the ancient amphitheater that hosted the ceremony: the ruins, the half-arch, along with the countryside on the background, composed the perfect romantic setting to celebrate a union!

The palette was made of blush, ivory, gold, different shades of green, purple-red and, of course, dusty and light blue. The flower compositions reflected the mood: romantic, elegant and disheveled. Along with the greenery, we chose typical autumn flowers – such as dahlia and roses – both for the bouquet and for the centerpieces. The reception table was set on a panoramic terrace. The mise en place was enriched by gold elements, green candles, decorated dishes, and a blue runner.

Looking at their gazes, you can feel the true love experienced by the models, a real couple in life. They looked for each other, kissed passionately and hugged each other to never let the partner go. The bride wore natural make-up: she was so spontaneous and beautiful! She had the chance to wear two different Berta Bridal gowns, one better than the other one. The hairstyle changed with the dress, too: long, wavy hair for the romantic gown and a soft updo for the sexier one.
