Garden Inspired Brunch Wedding at Arlington Hall

You know us — we’re defenseless against a good brunch wedding. A couple in love, delicious breakfast food, and remarkably beautiful scenery were just what we needed to see today, and we have a hunch you’ll feel the same way. Stephanie Brazzle Photography captured all the goodness on film, while Crystal Frasier Weddings and Garden Gate took care of the design and flowers.

From the bride, Meagan: Jake and I planned our wedding with three things in mind. First, we wanted our wedding day to be unique and truly reflect our personalities. Second, we wanted to include all our loved ones while staying in budget. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we LIVE for great brunch food, mimosas, and bloody marys! The end result was an ethereal brunch, garden-themed wedding of our dreams set in the picturesque sunken garden and lawn of Arlington Hall.

We served all of our brunch favorites: eggs benedict, mini-chicken and waffles, and fruit and yogurt parfaits. Rather than offering a traditional wedding cake, we had a delicious layered crepe cake prepared by Layered Bake Shop that was perfect for our brunch reception. Layered Bakeshop also provided a gorgeous spread of mini brunch-themed desserts, including coffee cakes, crème brulées, macarons, and chocolate mousse. The dessert table looked straight out of a Parisian bakery!

After brunch, our adult guests enjoyed lawn games such as oversized chess, bocce ball and croquet or relaxed in vintage-style outdoor lounge areas perfectly styled by Rent My Dust. Meanwhile, the children donned tea-party style hats, pearls, and gloves while flying kites on Arlington Hall’s lawn. It was truly a magical day straight from the storybooks, which would not have been possible without our wedding planner, Crystal Frasier, and our photographer, Stephanie Brazzle, who beautifully captured the best moments of the day for us to enjoy for years to come.
