Kohl Mansion Wedding
Anna and Ben’s wedding is all sorts of gorgeous. Once I was able to pull myself from gushing over the images that Gem Photo captured, I could pinpoint the numerous things I love about their nuptials. Starting right with the color palette. With touches of blush pink, aubergine, mauve, greens and grays, the florals by Huckleberry Karen Designs with event concept by none other than Yelena of The Stylish Soiree, makes this wedding one for the books.
From the bride, Anna: Ben and I are both old souls, so when we stumbled upon the nostalgic Kohl Mansion we knew it was the perfect venue for our autumn wedding. We wanted our day to reflect our personalities and love for one another in addition to having a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Our decor was pretty simple to complement the grandeur details of the space, and consisted of family photos, books, and lots and lots of candles. Our florals were feminine pastel colors with pops of aubergine and even some artichoke!
Our advice to brides and grooms: Try not to sweat the small stuff, stand your ground when it comes to wedding decisions that are important to you, and make sure you get down on the dance floor!
