From the photographer: This wedding was a smooth fun wedding day. Having everything in one location and due to the rain having areas in side that we could shoot portraits made for a lot less anxiety that day! The beautiful design with unique flair made it beautiful and the couple could not have been more amazing to work with.

From the bride: When we first started brainstorming ideas for our big day Josh & I knew we wanted a few things: an industrial style venue, unique “non-traditional” flowers, great food, and intimate time with our closest friends and family. The first place we lived in together was a renovated shoe factory and when we stepped into The Cheney Place we felt like we were right back in our old home. We are very eclectic, so we mashed up some styles we love like industrial, vintage, and fine art feels. The venue perfectly complimented us as a couple.

As for the color palette, I knew I wanted the bridesmaids to be in dusty blue hues and loved the idea of contrasting it with toffee/rust focused flowers. Our florist was fully on board with this idea and far exceeded our expectations. A combination of the blonde wood tables, the AMAZING installation piece, and various shaped glass vases at our reception transformed the space into what our friends and family referred to as “very Josh and Sarah”. What really brought it all together was having brilliant creative vendors bring our suggestions to life with the freedom to do what they do best!
