Vintage Bohemia Wedding Ideas with Wow-Worthy Flowers

The creative team blended antique elements with modern, more industrial details for a truly lovely scene. Now we’re wishing we could fill our entire houses with wild arrangements!

From the photographer, Chloe Luka Photography: This ethereal shoot was inspired by Indianapolis’ brand new wedding venue: The Neidhammer. It’s a gorgeous, industrial space that has been transformed from a historic theater into a modern ceremony location. They chose to keep the stage’s original design intact, while adding modern design pieces like exposed Edison bulbs to make it a true culmination of old and new. Our florist, Amanda Glow of Wild Heart Blooms, completely transformed the stage into an enchanted garden – overflowing with greenery and neutral blooms, in the hopes of inspiring future brides to see what a statement these pieces can make for a ceremony.

Sophia’s Bridal contributed two completely unique dresses for our shoot – the first in true bohemian style with tattered lace, flower applique’s and featured our bride barefoot, adorned with a simple makeup palette and a braid interlaced with small flowers. The second dress complements the vintage feel of the Neidhammer – her hair swept up with a crown of hydrangeas and vintage pumps, paired with her groom in a navy blue suit for the subtle pop of color. Throughout the shoot you will see details specifically chosen for the bohemian theme – from deer antlers to a vintage cigar box, to the bride and groom’s simple meal of croissants and blueberries with a toast of prosecco to celebrate the day.
