We would like to share with you Zoya&Matteo’s wedding.
We had the pleasure to plan and organize their wedding in Italy last June 21, 2023 at Villa Arvedi in Verona – Italy.
Zoya and Matteo live in Los Angeles but decided to get married in Italy as Matteo’s family origins come from there.
Zoya’s family has origin from Pakistan.
Video by Annalisa Macchione:
They have always wanted to unite not only their lives but also their cultures.
For their wedding, they dreamed of the beauty of a historic Italian villa, and during Zoya first visit to Italy, she immediately fell in love with the city of Verona and the story of Romeo and Juliet.
Villa Arvedi was the choice for both the ceremony and reception.
The gardens and frescoed halls were the wonderful setting for the entire day.
Zoya always had her wedding colors well in mind: red, rose, gold and white!
From the dress that recalled her origins, embroidered with thousands of rhinestones, to the jewelry made for her, to the floral decorations for the ceremony and her bouquet.
The table setting respected the color palette:
Clouds of gypshofila, red, white, and pink roses created a runner of flowers along the two imperial tables and surrounded the sweetheart table.
There was no shortage of calls to Italy in both the food and the “bomboniera” as present gifts and the sweet table with sugared almonds offered to their guests.
The cake was the classic Italian Millefoglie but made in a “live cooking show” to which the bride and groom contributed to in front of guests. Matteo was thus able to show off his skills as a chef.
The majestic backdrop of Villa Arvedi was the perfect setting for the magical multicultural wedding of Zoya and Matteo.
