Stunning Rochester NY Summer Wedding at Family Farm
This gorgeous Rochester summer wedding is brimming with personal touches and tender moments. Jim + Amy created the most beautiful wedding at the Father of the Groom’s farm, Oak Run at Archer Hill, and you will want to be swept away in this dazzling wedding. The bride Amy shares about her vision for their wedding day: Jim’s father has a beautiful farm close to where we live and work. Jim and I have always found peace in nature and specifically at this farm. Actually, he told me he thought it would be a cool place for awedding two months into our relationship! When a guy tells you he has pictured your wedding day…you just follow through! The property is so magical, we really designed everything around it.

Who doesn’t love delicious and personalized sweet treats? Chocolate chip cookies, goldfish, gummy bears…how do they know all of our favorite snacks? Let’s not question it.
We fell in love with this color palette that enhanced the natural beauty of the family farm. The bride, Amy shared: We chose soft blues and neutrals so that our surroundings would be the palette.
Now THIS is what we call a show-stopper. We had to take a moment to catch our breath after seeing this absolutely gorgeous sailcloth tent from Hank Parker’s Party and Tent Rentals.
The bride shares one of her favorite moments: Both of our fathers gave these toasts that made my heart melt. His father said, “When we started this day, we were friends. When we end this day, we are family.” My father referenced advice from my grandfathers who have passed away. I felt like they were with us in that moment. My grandfather told my dad before he passed away that the meaning to all of this is about helping each other out. He asked that Jim and I always have that in our hearts and throughout our marriage.
Oh, don’t mind us! We’ll just be lounging on this gorgeous furniture from Warehouse 127 Rentals at the family’s private farm.
