Spring Wedding Inspiration with a WOW Floral Gown
Oh, we’re going to start the day off right with today’s oh-pinch-me-I’m-dreaming spring wedding inspiration at Langdon Hall. We’re talking about this unconventional beauty brought to us by Confetti and Co. and Living Fresh. Believe me, the combination of royal blue and varying shades of yellow is an instant hit, we thought. But wait until you see the custom blue wedding dress crafted by Jennie Ross Bridal and Kailey Hawthorn, oh, it’s gonna be worth it. Let’s take a closer look at these images from Jessica Imrie Photography.
From the planner, Kendra of Confetti and Co.:
We wanted to create a shoot that showcased that non-traditional colours and designs can still be beautiful, elegant and romantic. Since the dress featured many shades of blue, we chose bright yellow florals to accent the design. With spring right around the corner, the team wanted to emphasize a cheerful palette with garden-inspired florals! Tina from Living Fresh is an industry expert in bold garden florals, and her creativity and passion brought the vision to life.
When Jennie Ross Bridal and Kailey Hawthorn designed a custom dress crafted from a custom fabric, it was the perfect statement piece to center the shootaround. The classic silhouette of the dress juxtaposed with the bold, blue and modern pattern came together to create the perfect bridal gown. Pairing the dress with a classic cathedral veil provided a unique twist to the traditional bridal look while remaining both elegant and romantic. With vintage jewelry and accessories included throughout the look, this modern take on a wedding dress becomes an instant heirloom.
The timeless setting of Langdon Hall lent itself well to the elegant and romantic aspects of the design and ensured that the bolder statement pieces were grounded in something historic and classic.
The stationery designed by Red Bicycle Paper Co and Crystalline Script brought in simple and elegant aspects of the design which blended effortlessly into the table decor.

Our advice? Don’t shy away from colours and designs that aren’t traditionally seen in today’s typical wedding! You can create a beautiful statement bridal look without following too many trends.
