From the event designers, Love & Memories: On Tuesday, the 6th of October 2015, we set up a styled shoot in Spain at the Costa Brava. We named the styled shoot “Boho at the Beach”. We really love the bohemian style and we really thought it could be a very nice setting. So, we had to think of something unique. By getting inspiration and being creative, we started to come up with ideas that combine new trends and our own style. The colours we chose for this shoot were mainly stonewashed green and coral combined with soft pink and white.

For the styled shoot we wanted to use a big naked cake decorated with flowers and sea elements. For the bridal couple we wanted to have a wooden pergola decorated with white fabric and flowers. Then, we would set up a cozy corner between the rocks with an old wooden dinner table and lots of cushions. Once we defined how the shoot would look like and where we would do it, we started to contact the vendors that would fit with this style and our ideas. As we planned to start the session in the early morning, we needed a place to stay in the neighborhood. Some providers came from the area of Barcelona and others, like the photographer, the bride and the vendor of the stationery came from Holland.

At 8 o’clock in the morning we were all meeting at a little beach, called Cap Ras, which is one of the many beautiful beaches in the Costa Brava of northeastern Spain. When the sun came up, we started to make pictures of the bride Debbie in her beautiful bohemian wedding dress from Inmaculada Garcia, which is a very well-known Spanish wedding dress designer. There was such a relaxed atmosphere and the temperature was perfect. In the meanwhile, we were building up the wooden pergola together with the florist Lourdes from Flors Bahí. Then, we continued the photo session together with the groom Aaron. The bride and the groom went to sit at the dinner table together with their flower girl, called Jadey. She was wearing a cute dress from the Dutch company Ministry of dresses.

The table that is used is an old wooden door and we decorated it with many transparent jars and bottles from glass. There were many flowers in soft pink and white colors, succulent plants, cactus flowers and shells. Around the table there were many cushions and poufs to create a relaxed and cozy ambiance. After dinner, the photographer Charlotte made some pictures from the beautiful bride with the big naked cake. Then, Debbie changed her dress for one of the Dutch company Ministry of dresses. The groom played some guitar for his bride and flower girl. They had so much fun together! It was such a sweet and beautiful moment! At the end of the photo session the newlyweds were dancing beneath the pergola until sunset.
