Sarah + Rick’s Backyard Chic Wedding, Part II
Continuing with Sarah and Rick’s intimate wedding shot by rockstar photographer Jessamyn Harris. There are so many DIY details – from planning to design, they did it all. The bold and bright color mix of orange, red and aqua and colorful paper lanterns in this outdoor setting made for a perfect summer wedding.
From the bride, Sarah:
“The idea for the favors originated when my mother lucked into a bunch of gold picture frames. With some help from friends and family, Rick and I created individual collages for every single guest at the wedding! The collages inside the picture frames then doubled as favors and place settings. The materials we used in the collages helped personalize the wedding. We used leftover red, turquoise and gold paper from our invitations, plus images from vintage Hungarian matchbook covers to reflect our time living in Budapest, and images from wedding-themed vintage jazz sheet music to reflect the love of early jazz that brought us together.”
