Provençal Lavender Field Wedding
Getting married in a lavender field amidst your very closest family and friends — I can’t imagine any ceremony setting much better than that. Unless that lavender field was in Provence, which of course, this one is. Photographer Nadia Meli outdid herself capturing Nadine and Klaus’ beautifully intimate wedding day straight from France!
From the bride, Nadine: We dreamed of a very intimate and personal wedding day. The atmosphere we were going for was one of a garden party. We wanted everyone that was there to honestly be happy with us and enjoy the day with a lot of effortlessness.
The decoration and colors was definitely vintage-inspired, but also pretty simple and delicate in soft creme colors. With a lot of help from our family we did it all ourselves. There are so many beautiful memories!!!! One very intense moment for me was when I walked towards my husband and I saw the emotion in his face. That really touched me deeply.
What advice do you have, if any, for brides planning their wedding day now? It is YOUR day!!! Make it your way! Doesn’t matter how crazy your ideas sound to others, do it and enjoy it the way you like! And most of all, celebrate the day with people who really mean something to you and can honestly be happy with you!
