Romantic Airy Texas Wedding
Joy, pure joy exudes from the photos of the real wedding we are featuring today! Iris and Felix’s timelessly beautiful celebration is proof that tasteful simplicity can often make the biggest impact. Flashes of navy, green and gold are the perfect accent for the all-white palette of a barn illuminated by elegant chandeliers that make a serious (well, seriously awesome) statement. We’re slightly obsessed with Iris’ dreamy floral headpiece and BHLDN gown featuring an intricate design along the back – the perfect complement for the blooms from Flowers & Moore. We simply can’t wait for you to see all the images from Leah Golter Photography below!
From the photographer, Leah Golter Photography: Iris and Felix were married in their dream venue, The White Sparrow, nestled in the country of Quinlan, Texas. Felix flew Iris from Chicago to tour this beautiful venue when they were dating. Iris had always dreamed of getting married in this chandelier adorned white barn. It was a complete surprise when he got down on one knee in the middle of the room and proposed to his sweetheart.
Iris knew she wanted to highlight the beauty of their dream venue and kept the decor and floral design clean, simple, and lush. Allie of Flowers & Moore brought her vision to life with an organic arch cascading over the front barn doors. The atmosphere of the wedding day was sweet and romantic, as Iris & Felix’s family and friends flew into town for this special day. The light filled reception was staged with round wooden tables and navy blue linens. The same forged garland lined the bridal table with metallic gold accents. Iris’ beautiful Latina bridesmaids wore pink chiffon dresses. Macey of Styling by Macey kept their makeup fresh and vibrant with perfectly pink lips and cheeks.
Iris was such a stunning bride. She wore layers of BHLDN and something blue in her Betsey Johnson stilettos. She adorned herself with clean and simple Givenchy diamonds. For the reception, she switched her jewels for a flower crown, to transition for a night of salsa dancing and fun. Texas is known for its extremely hot and humid summers. This elegant white barn was the perfect choice for an indoor ceremony and reception, while still producing light-filled airy photos. I swept Iris & Felix away at sunset, to just breathe and take a moment to themselves. They walked and laughed as they soaked in their first as husband and wife.
