Rich Toned Wedding Ideas in Northern California
When you’ve got incredible flowers to work with, putting together a styled wedding shoot becomes just a little bit easier. Today’s photo session comes from Britt Taylor Photography and Thistle and Honey, who crafted a gorgeous botanical inspired wedding scene complete with rich berry tones, a lovely + leafy garland backdrop, and an incredible lace gown by Sarah Seven that has us positively green with envy!
From the event stylist, Shannon of Thistle and Honey: This shoot came together with a great team of vendors from Northern California. When putting together this shoot I was inspired by the rich abundance of warm colors that surround us during the fall. From the early sunsets showering us with warm, golden light – to the brightly hued trees dropping their leaves. Autumn is a lovely time to be married, but the weather can certainly be unpredictable. I wanted to bring a bit of the outdoors in, while still maintaining elegance and simplicity. Beatnik Studios, which serves as an event space and art gallery, was the perfect place for this to all come together.

A beautiful floral arrangement. The photographer did a great job. Especially like the shot of the flowers on the couch, color differential is amazing!

Hmm… It’s absolutely gorgeous. And–surprisingly– looks exactly like my cousin Carley, LOL! Does this make my opinion any less valid? Because regardless of my bias, it really is beautiful. 🙂
