Renaissance Inspired Styled Shoot
When I think of the Renaissance period, the notion of romance is never far from my mind. Today’s styled shoot from Kristina Adams Photography, Carillo & Co., and The Enchanted Florist takes all of the most romantic and artistic elements of the Renaissance style and implements them into wedding design, with an incredibly stylish and attractive styled shoot to show for it.
From the designers, Carillo & Co.: This shoot has quickly become one of our favorites because of how passionate we are about the concept. At Carillo & Co., we work in event design & production, but we also have backgrounds in fine art, theater, and graphic design that help us see the big picture in new ways. Being artists, this theme was particularly close to our hearts because of the heavy influence of the Renaissance style. As artists, we work in many mediums including charcoal, oil paint, sculpture, and more, and this shoot gave us the perfect canvas to play! We enjoyed utilizing some of our work, creating custom paintings and pieces, and placing personal touches throughout.
As we began working on some of the elements, we also relayed the vision to all of our vendors, who took it to the next level. I mean, just look at that gorgeous painted cake and those sprawling romantic florals. We feel that this shoot will inspire brides because it shows some fresh, custom ideas that can make a whimsical or traditional wedding burst with personality. With the feeling of the shoot, we wanted everything to be rustic, but rich, and dripping with the romance of the Renaissance. Our team of vendors showcased their talent with fresh pieces that we haven’t seen anywhere- ideas that will surely spark creativity in your followers! Being a husband and wife team, it is supremely important to us that we communicate each couple’s story to their guests in a way that is authentic, beautiful, and celebrates the journey that begins on their wedding day.
