Regal Whimsy Inspiration

Photographer Kaysha Weiner, whose gorgeous wedding we have featured recently here, is sharing with us this inspiration she captured designed by Pure Lavish Events. The regal whimsy mood is absolute bliss. You all know how much we love a good bouquet, and these florals by Florals by Jenny tie in the woodland inspiration perfectly.

As silly as it may sound, the inspiration of this shoot started with a single feather, a white feather dipped in a majestic gold. From there the idea evolved into a regal color scheme of eggplant, deep reds and pinks while accenting the pieces with gold. Think of a bride and groom running into the fields behind a magnificent castle and sitting down to a table-scape fit for royalty. From there we wanted a cake that stood out yet was still as pure as the gold dipped feather, and Sweet & Saucy Shop completely nailed our inspiration.

Since the landscape was lush and green surrounded by trees and fruits of the season the cake and florals were kept simple to focus attention on the gold dipped feathers. With lush textured Florals by Jenny, and the dark wood table from Town & Country, the contrasting gold really pulled the whole look together. Our bride looked stunning in a sand hued dresses with ethereal chiffon ruffles from Ruche and delicate gold jewelry from Stella & Dot. A loose side-swept braid, and a bold pink mauve colored lip completed her simple yet refined look.
