Orange Crush Wedding Ideas

What can you do with just one color? If you’re asking Sarah Park Events, the answer is “a whole heck of a lot.” We were absolutely blown away by Sarah’s shoot, which put varying shades of orange against a white background for a crisp monochrome look just in time for spring. From the event designer, Sarah of Sarah Park Events: The idea behind this shoot was to take one main color and add different shades of the same color to come up with a monochromatic look. We decided to take the color orange and go crazy with it! Because we wanted to make the orange pop out, we found the most beautiful white showroom which was the perfect backdrop for our inspiration at Paisley & Jade’s showroom in Richmond, VA.

For the ceremony backdrop, I knew I wanted to go big so I went to the craft store, bought the biggest canvas they had and started painting flowers. To make it 3 dimensional, I had my lovely friends at Sweet Root Village jazz it up with orange flowers all over the canvas. Every design element worked so well together because we weren’t restricted to a certain shade of color. All it had to be was the color orange and we were good to go! Hoping to see more monochromatic weddings in the near future! We had a great time designing this wedding inspiration and now we’re all lovers of the color orange.
