From the event designer, Cherry Blossom Events: We are delighted to share with your readers this intimate, soft, and romantic styled shoot in one of Wisconsin’s hallmark mossy glens. We believe that great event design can take it’s biggest source of inspiration from the event setting. Instead of pursuing a collection of wedding trends, note the setting-natural growth, textures, time of year, and you’ll have an event design that’s cohesive, and beautiful!

We recently put this into practice in this shoot, nestled back in a quiet mossy glen. The space is moody and romantic, rife with delicate textures, earthy smells, and soft breezes that we wanted to reflect in the design. Our talented stylists created a tablescape to draw out the natural tones and textures of the space.

Natural textures such as wood, linen and breezy plant dyed silk reflected the ambiance of the space, from of the velvety moss covered rocks to the gentle breeze in the glen. The specialty sweets table, chock full of delicious gold leafed macarons, mossy profiterols, and mushroom shaped meringues and more completed the forest feel beautifully. When you work with such a talented creative time, your wedding will be so much more than a collection of trends that come and go.
