Modern Silver and Purple Wedding Editorial

Few hues evoke modern and sleek design so quickly as silver, which you’ll find a fair amount of in this styled shoot from Amy & Jordan Photography, Andrea Leslie Weddings & Events LLC, and LUX Florist. When paired with hints of purple and burgundy, the result is a cool toned wonderland! We love the idea of having a tower of champagne drinks available for your guests, with a little sprig of lavender in each glass to boot.

From the event designer, Andrea Leslie Weddings & Events: When asked to design this styled shoot, I wanted to create something romantic that paired well with the contemporary look of the venue. The smoky quartz color and intricate lace influenced each piece of the design. The layered silver linens provided the perfect base for the centerpiece, which included various shades of purple. For the attire, we dressed the bride in a beautiful Enzoani dress accented with embroidered silver lace detailing and a soft lace and tulle trumpet skirt. The groom was outfitted in a slim fit navy tux with black lapel, carrying the colored tux trend from the runway right into the shoot.

For the paper products, I love the romantic look of calligraphy, but wanted each piece to have a uniquely modern place in the shoot. Rather than your traditional place card, we had guest names scripted on the back of each ghost chair. We also used acrylic menus and a table number, to bring the modern and romantic elements together. Lastly, I LOVE champagne towers, but wanted a modern take on the traditional tower. I utilized a stacked silver stand and accented each glass with a sprig of lavender to bring some softness to each glass.
