From the photographer, Olivia Richards Photography: The transition from late summer to fall in California was the inspiration for this editorial shoot. The warm tones of gold, yellow, and blush with the white barn at French Oak Ranch in Calistoga complimented each other perfectly and really set the tone for a romantic fall wedding in California’s wine country. Andria Leigh Events and Olivia Richards Photography collaborated together on the overall design of the shoot and wanted to capture a modern, romantic take on the changing of seasons and embracing Fall with new warmth.
The Flora Club brought the golden vibe through her stunning floral arrangements and bridal bouquet filled with roses, dahlias, and a variety of fall foliage. The inspiration for the stationery in this shoot actually came from Olivia’s new branding for her new website and brand that launches this fall! Peach Paper Design created fun, whimsical stationery that incorporated an updated version of the color palette blush and gold with a very modern, fresh California feel with the sunburst and floral illustrations.
For the tablescape, the ivory velvet linen gave us a modern, clean slate to design a really warm, inviting, and romantic feel. The wooden curved chargers, dusty blue dinnerware, and limestone napkins draped with a gold velvet ribbon were the perfect layers of texture and color at each place setting.
We used these colors in a different way for the dessert table which showcased a beautiful blue velvet linen accompanied by more lush arrangements and the perfect modern cake designed by Flour and Batter Cakes. She incorporated the floral illustrations and pops of warm, golden colors in the cake and still kept it very modern and fresh. Our beautiful California bride wore a stunning gown from Wild Bride and the most unique opalescent engagement ring from Gem Breakfast.
We just love this colorful take on a fall wedding filled with modern details in Calistoga. Not like we need to look for reasons to love wine country but this picturesque California wedding is next level gorg!
