Minted Wedding Invitation Inspiration

It’s no secret we love Minted. Their ever so gorgeous designs and community-centric stationery company are just some of the things that make us fans. Minted just came out with a new wedding invitation line and to celebrate it, they asked us to pick a design and create a photoshoot inspired by it. We left it in the hands of the pros, Yelena Johnson of Stylish Soiree and a fantastic team of vendors. She dreamed up a wedding from invitation to inspiration that you will go gaga for.

Yelena Johnson of Stylish Soiree chose the Twine wedding invitations for the inspiration for this shoot. Inspired by bold typography with black and white stripes, this wedding invite is a like a pair of black Louboutins. You can style it in many different ways, but it will be effortlessly chic no matter what. Yelena knocked it out of the park along with photos by Tinywater Photography.

  • Does anyone know where they sourced that ribbon from? I love it and am looking for something similar for my own wedding!

  • Could you please share where the plates/chargers are from (gold design)? Also, where are the gold mercury glass tall votives from?

    Thank you!

  • Could you please tell me the name of the designers for the gowns featured. Thank you so much!

  • Oh my gosh! I designed this invitation for Minted and I can’t tell you how exciting this is! I love what you guys did with this shoot. It’s every stationer’s dream to have something inspired by your work… so this just made my day! Thank you Ruffled and Minted!

  • anyone know where the bride’s ivory necklace is from?? it’s darling.

  • Love this !!! I wonder how it looks with a touch of purple?!?

  • The “Ornamental” Wedding Invites are actually the ones I have picked out for my August 2013 Cali-boho nuptials!

  • I follow this blog daily through my email and through the Ruffled site itself. It gives me so many ideas for my tight budget wedding. My colors are black & white with a peacock accent. I can’t really say what invitation I would pick on the ruffled site if I had the choice because honestly i never thought I would have a choice. I have been planning to make my own invitations since the beginning of my wedding because of the costs. Every invitation on the site is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I must has this necklace for my wedding!!! Where is it from?

  • Does anyone know where these plates are from? I have searched everywhere and I can’t find anything like it!

  • Plates are definitely fromt West Elm I grabbed some from the clearance section over the Labor Day weekend.

Letter press paper weights also from West Elm.

  • This is seriously amazing, the whole thing. We just ordered our invites from Minted and I can’t wait! We also own an air plant company and it’s so awesome to see such creative and stunning use of air plants in wedding design. We plan on using air plants in our own wedding design when we get married in October and this just made me that much more excited for it. Beautiful work! Stunning photos too!

  • Hi All,

Sorry for the late response, but the necklace is from Francesca’s Collections, the black and white french stripe ribbon was sourced from a seller on Etsy, the plates were part of the David Stark for West Elm collection.

Thank you all for such kind words – this shoot was SO much fun to create.

    Warm Wishes,

    Yelena
