Minnesota Stone Barn Wedding
Is there a better time of the year for a rustic soiree than the Fall? I think not. This ultra chic barn wedding shot by Eric Lundgren Photography is the perfect example of rustic elegance. Love the little vintage touches blended with modern styling. Anna wore her mother’s veil, such a great way to “something borrowed” and to honor your mom or mom-in-law if you want to rock a brand new gown.

From Eric Lundgren Photography: Anna and Dan hosted a classic wedding in southern Minnesota. They married under mature oak trees next to golden corn fields. The reception was held in a historic stone barn full of thoughtful DIY details. The couple chose a rustic harvest theme for decor, centerpieces of artichokes and apples over burlap runners complimented by the leaves gently falling during the ceremony.
As the groom is a stand-up comedian, the couple provided a homemade Mad Lib sheet at each place setting to entertain the guests before dinner.
The couple chose an apple crisp dessert so cardboard cakes were constructed and coated with a chalkboard finish, allowing children to decorate the cakes with colored chalk. The chalkboard theme was also used for the bar menu.
The venue itself was built in the early 1900s for the co-founder of the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Charles Mayo. The charming interior of the stone barn was lit with strings of lights to create a warm and intimate atmosphere for dinner and dancing.
