From the planner, Manna Sun from Manna Sun Events: Mengyuan and Haohan tied the knot at Chateau Lill, an intimate venue just 30 minutes from Downtown Seattle. With its lush rolling lawns, ponds and a small farm surrounded by tall firs, this gorgeous venue had provided the couple an intimate wedding and multiple outdoor and indoor settings and breathtaking photo opportunities. Many thanks to our talented photographer, Stella Yang, for capturing these beautiful and magical moments and details.
Two words to describe Mengyuan and Haohan’s wedding vision: Organic and Vintage. To achieve this vision, our team came up with a color palette that inspired by the natural beauty and energy of spring. Florists from Awaiting the Name Floral & Design has adapted the lush and free-form style, using flowers in blush, ivory and peach, hints of creamy yellow colors accompanied by the sage green, to all the flower arrangements. From the exquisite bridal bouquet, to the flourishing arch as the back drop for the ceremony; from the airy arrangements on sides of the aisle, to the greenery tangled to the side of the chairs, their beautiful work fully expressed the awaken liveliness of the blooming spring. Spring themed flowers were arranged here and there on the dessert display as if they were waking up in the spring garden.
Wooden chairs various in styles for the ceremony and vintage style chairs and sofa accompanied by both vintage and modern side tables in the lounge style were included in the design to maximize the vintage atmosphere of the wedding. Wood elements were also used in the reception for hints of the rustic style, like the large wood board as the seating chart and menus tied to the small wood boards placed on each table. Floral linens and napkins also added a little bit French pastoral style to this relaxed tented reception. Desserts were placed as if they were beautiful art display in the large white cabinet, along with the rustic wedding cake.
Mengyuan picked a sexy, while ethereal, sophisticated and classy, ivory lace and chiffon wedding dress with a deep V open back for the ceremony and a flower embellished dress for the reception to define the organic mood of the wedding. As dog people, how could Mengyuan and Haohan forget their furry baby on their big day. Not only did they let that happy face to be the ring bearer, Mengyuan and Haohan also used dog-themed details in the design of their cake and desserts and even decorations on the dinner tables to express their love for their four-leg friend.
Can we just pretend every day is national dog day? We just love how they incorporated their furry friend into their romantic garden wedding in Seattle. Because we just can’t get enough, check out these 30 dogs of honor that we just want to love on.
