Modern Minimalism Wedding Inspiration
One of the reasons we love this next editorial shoot so much is because it shows that minimalist design can still make a strong impact. The talented team of Laura Murray Photography, Banks and Leaf, and Yonder House implemented wild and natural elements for a look that’s totally organic, using a simple color palette of white, green, and gray, with just the tiniest pop of red in the tablescape. Isn’t it the dreamiest?
From the photographer, Laura Murray Photography: We were inspired by the idea of natural minimalism — that was the feel and vibe we were going for as we chose dresses, paper goods, floral elements, and the venue. For the venue we chose a modern restaurant in the heart of Denver. To play off the ambiance of the restaurant, we kept the palette muted, but with wild and natural elements. The paper goods were monochromatic with a mix of typography and calligraphy. The dresses were sophisticated and interesting. And the florals on the tablescape were placed in handmade, earthy vessels.
