Modern Blue Watercolor Wedding Ideas

Let’s just go ahead and say it: we go gaga over watercolors. Any shade or style of this newly-beloved wedding trend is perfect to us and we could spend hours dreaming of fun combos to pair it with. Along with M2 Photography, Belovely gathered up the prettiest, muted blue shades and artistically sprinkled it around this shoot. And we just have to mention that watercolor bridal skirt by Sweet Caroline. The duo of the skirt with marbled-blue swirls and the dainty lace crop top leaves us with two words: wow and swoon.

From Lauren of Belovely: Maggie of Maggpie Rentals had asked us to join forces for a Garces Catering Open House and while designing and decorating a tablescape is fun, it is so much more when it’s a full story. So we quickly grabbed our vendor friends (or friendors, as we like to call them) and came up with this spectacular watercolored blue styled shoot.

For venues that don’t allow for hanging decor, Maggpie’s new Franklin table with the attachable hanging bar was PERFECT! We added some hanging greens to really give life and height to the reception space. Some watercolor paper goods, a beautiful invitation suite by Papertree Studio all topped off with the absolutely stunning watercolor gown by Sweet Caroline sent the shoot over the top. Gina of True Beauty Marks knocked it out of the park with hair and make up, and of course the entire thing was captured so perfectly by Melissa of M2 Photography!
