Brookgreen Gardens Wedding Inspiration

When you pair the lovely photographic style of Brianna Wilbur Photography with a picturesque location like Brookgreen Gardens and the planning and styling of Smells Like Peonies, you get a shoot that is nothing less than amazing. We were wowed by all of the images, of course; this shoot was a fresh take on southern elegance mixed into an earthy, botanical backdrop. The color star of this show was pink in every shade imaginable and it was such a delight to see. From the scrumptious-looking raspberry pink wedding cake by Pink Pineapple Bakery, to the sweetheart table with blush pink linens and an exquisite hot pink peony centerpiece by Charleston Flower Market, we were floored by the use of color and how it beautifully stood out amongst the greenery. This is definitely a shoot you don’t want to miss!

From the photographer, Brianna Wilbur Photography: We are sending you our colorful, feminine, modern take on the botanical garden wedding. We selected Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina as our backdrop because it screams class, romance, and elegance. However, the florals and details are bold and colorful without being too whimsical. In the end, we love the combination of the pink color palette with the delicate floral shoes and the modern Audrey Hepburn-feeling gown. It’s one of our favorite shoots to date and we hope you love it as much as we do!
