If you’re looking for a breath of fresh air, we’re confident you’ll find it here. Earthy desert vibes are met with a wave of citrus energy in this fruity Joshua Tree wedding inspiration. Call it whimsical. Call it bohemian. We’d call it every good name in the book! Because we’ll be honest, you can never go wrong with a bright splash of color.
Bramble and Vine’s inspiration for this shoot came from the warm-hearted nature of the couple themselves, and the way their vibrant energy translates to these stills is serious magic. We love the beauty of it all, from the delicious tablescape to the print-worthy cacti portraits.
This modern invitation suite from Lotus and Ash is clean and fun with such features as embossed dates, letterpress and themed desert stamps!
The blooms cultivated by Oak and Amble are serious eye candy. And matched with the colorful scattered fruits like pomegranate, lemon, grapefruit and papaya, they are unbeatable!
From the stylist and photographer, Bernadette of Bramble and Vine: Maharasyi and Tyrone are a couple of talented musicians engaged to be married this August. The Bride to be, Maharasyi, is a soulful professional singer and was a contestant on the TV show “The Voice” (season 13). A bassist friend from church suggested that she meet his brother, an amazingly talented drummer. Once she met Tyrone, they totally clicked and have been together for 2.5 years. This musical duo was such a joy to photograph and are so down to earth to hang out with and shoot.
This inspired engagement shoot takes place in the Joshua Tree landscape with an elegant theme (a bit of boho) fusing earthen desert tones with citrus and papaya colors. Southern Californian Florist, Oak and Amble, designed florals inspired by the desert blooms along with muted pink, blood orange and lemon tones.
We’ve lost the ability to put words together after laying eyes on this whimsical cake with citrus peels by WB Event Planning. Except to say YUM.
Alexandra Grecco makes a mean ultra-feminine bridal look. With an A-line silhouette, flirty skirt slit and hand-embroidered floral appliqués, this gown is worthy of applause.
Mixing a bit of letterpress minimalism with a bit of elegance, the wedding suite by Lotus and Ash adds a modern feel to the inspiration.
WB Event Planning prepared a Citrus infused Naked Cake, which we designed with Dried Citrus fruit. The citrus theme continues with a blood orange Mimosa served with a sprig of mint. During this season, the cacti were blooming like crazy with pink and yellow blooms! A perfect color combination with this color palette.
