Real Wedding with Foraged Autumn Blooms and a Sweet Pup
Crisp air, orange leaf exits and foraged autumn blooms were king in Meg and Garrick’s day. Beautiful Exchange had a sharp eye for the details, capturing everything from the retro van to the magnolia-clad pup to the unique spice blending ceremony. We love all the ways this couple honored Meg’s father who passed away years before, and from start to finish, you could see nothing but happiness in everyone’s eyes.
I first met Meg and her mom, Pat at a coffee shop in Tulsa Oklahoma. The sweetest people you ever met and joyful, pure joy. That is the perfect way to describe them. Meg’s father passed away years ago so it was so special to see Pat, her mom, make sure everything that her dad was supposed to do, she would take his place because for years she was just that. Her and her sister’s mother and father.
It was a gorgeous day. Every detail was beautifully curated to fit both Garrick and Meg’s personality. They even “blended spices” during the ceremony to reflect their adventurous spirits. They ended up handing out that spice blend as party favors towards the end of the evening.
Every color imaginable and beautiful wild and free florals draped and cascaded from the bouquets and arbor that was made so perfectly by Crooked Roots Design here in Tulsa. My personal fave florist. Garrick and Meg’s wedding was just unique and every detail was so THEM. I think it should be seen.
