Fine Art French Wedding with a Playful Design in Dazzling Reds
Set in a 17th century chateau outside of Paris, French wedding vendors created a breathtaking fine art design with a vibrant color palette of rich reds and blush pinks. We love the playful yet sophisticated design by La Maison Dautel, and we instantly turned into the heart eye emoji when we saw the gorgeous ruffled gown in a dazzling red. Anja Schneemann Photography was there to capture every fine art detail that has left us in awe of European designs once again!
From Bonjour Paper: Have you ever had the opportunity to shoot a bridal reportage in a real museum? Château de Villette is one of them and is casually called the “Small Versailles”. Located 40 minutes away from the center of Paris, Château de Villette is one of the most remarkable châteaux in France, classified as a historical landmark. We can easily see why! The actual owners of this XVII century Château perpetuated the Sun King tradition: collecting breathtaking and rare art pieces like Pierre Berger’s personal China’s collection and Joséphine De Beauharnais’ bathtubs.
Inspired by this unique and historical venue, we could only imagine the portrait of a glamourous, independent bride, passionated about refined items, in love with fine antiques, an aesthete deep in her soul, captured by fine art wedding photographer Anja Schneemann and videographer Rouge Weddings.
We chose to go with a strong, vibrant color palette in deep and rich red hues which were reflected in all details: the dazzling red ruffled dress from Mae Paris was a perfect match to embody a sophisticated, stylish young bride. The floral designer, La Maison Dautel, composed ravishingly lush red and cream florals to compliment the bride’s allure and likewise for the table centrepiece which aimed to contrast with the beautiful light stone walls of the venue. Julia Götz worked her magic and created a glamorous, dramatic look, enhanced with organic, modern earrings from Maison Sabben, courtesy of Magnolias on Silk, and Bella Belle Shoes.
The Sweet Heart table was adorned with gold accents and beautiful rentals from Joli Bazaar, and Sweet Creations Cakes created a stunning 3 tier cake adorned with delicate red sugar blooms and leaves. The matching wedding stationery created by Bonjour Paper included modern romantic typography and a sketch of the château, printed on fine luxury hand made paper.
