Elegant Industrial Florida Wedding Chock-Full of Modern Twist
We’re off to start the day with a gorgeous elegant industrial Florida wedding chock-full of modern twists and striking blooms. Our eyes are always wide open for industrial weddings. Known for their endless creative possibilities, this one from Ashton Events is first on the list. Oh, what can we say about the hanging ranunculus dripping like a daydream and swinging cakes + desserts that we’re definitely saving room for? Perfect 10! Take a closer look at these mod ideas + the lovely wedding of Meg and Bryan captured by Renee Nicole Photography.
From Abby Rice of Ashton Events:
Key Elements:
• Held in a renovated industrial warehouse
• Rich, fall tones, with accents of raspberry, marigold, navy and evergreen • Garden-inspired, jewel-toned blooms with rich green leaves
• Plentiful amounts of macrame, candles, floral installations, & string lights
• A delicious, buffet dinner followed by a scrumptious array of cakes and desserts
• A lively dance floor
We loved creating a wedding day for Megan + Bryan that infused natural elegance with bohemian and industrial elements.
With both the ceremony and reception taking place at Haus 820, in Lakeland, FL, we wanted to play on the history of the area in a way that let the beauty of the space shine. Being in Central Florida, we are surrounded by lush plant life, bright blooms, and radiant sunshine that was conveyed all throughout Megan + Bryan’s wedding day. The brilliant, loud florals that were infused throughout the decor stole the show and looked stunning against the white brick walls of the venue! They perfectly represented how fun and full of life these two are as a couple. They both share an appreciation for thoughtful details and southern hospitality, not to mention a killer dance party!
Our bride and groom are not only a beautiful couple but full of so much genuine love and joy. We wanted to convey the amazing love they share with one another through the design of their day. We had bountiful amounts of blooms in our design, our personal favorite being the hanging ranunculus that we handcrafted above the head table and at the greeting table when guests arrived. These installations were incredibly detailed and looked absolutely breathtaking!
No wedding is complete without sweet treats, so we decided to put a modern twist on the dessert presentation, instead of doing a traditional cake table. We created a hanging display made up of a series of hanging planks, each one holding a different cake or dessert.
Love this hanging dessert table idea? Floating cakes, suspended cakes, modern cake swings, 12 times this wedding trend blew our minds.
