Cheers! That was the inspiration for this styled shoot. Isn’t it the perfect theme for a wedding if you have to pick one?! Having a local craft brewery as the venue, we couldn’t help but think about how a beer wedding is so fitting for fall. And you don’t even need to like football to embrace it — take inspiration from wheat and its gold tones and yummy warm tones from pretzels and peanuts!

From Something Blue Floral Design:
Having relocated to Northern British Columbia from Southern Ontario and also just finishing my second wedding season here, I wanted to celebrate my 2 year anniversary by showcasing some of the amazingly talented vendors that have welcomed me into this community. We are located 10 hours North from Vancouver and 7 hours from Kelowna, many Brides would travel long distances to find the newest styles of dresses or the clients would essentially book a version of a destination wedding within the province to find the style of vendors that suited them. I wanted to create a shoot that would be worthy of an industry blog, and be distinctly Prince George! Being able to give these artists a platform to share their creativity would be my gift to them. We chose our local craft brewery as the venue setting and left it bare bones, every previous event that has been hosted in this location has covered the uniqueness of the space, which seemed so unfortunate.

Beer Wedding Editorial 023Through out the seasons you can find residents boating and fishing along the river, large ice jams during the thaw, but currently the entire river has dried up and provided us with the most spectacular backdrop! The beautiful group that brought my vision to life deserve to be recognized beyond this Northern community for the love of their crafts.
