DIY Star Confetti Tape
We have been anxiously waiting to share these projects since last summer, and here they are! This DIY confetti tape is a doozy, perfect for embellishing any type of packaging. Following our series of DIY star-themed projects today, this one ranks high at the top of our favorite projects:
Today we’re all about a star motif for parties, and we couldn’t throw a party without confetti, right? This star confetti paper punch from Fiskars was calling our name when we began to brainstorm a constellation inspired party. Just add double-sided tape and your gift wrapping skills will instantly impress everyone. Save on fancy wrapping paper, because all you need is one solid color paper roll (we used this matte black one).
- Fiskars Star Confetti Squeeze Punch
- Double-sided tape
- gold foil paper (like gift wrap)
This is a quick and easy way to dress up any packaging or gift box! We wanted an all gold look to our confetti tape, so we needed double-sided metallic gold paper which isn’t easy to find. For this, we used regular white cardstock and spray painted both sides gold, but you can also try gold gift wrap for a two tone look with gold and white from the back of the wrap or use a solid color cardstock. This confetti punch makes twice as easier to punch and its ergonomic handles allow for making a ton of these in a jiffy.
Place your double-sided tape where needed and sprinkle your gold star confetti over the tape and that’s all your packaging goods will need!
