DIY Jasmine Wreath

Gawking over today’s inspiration by Alisa Lewis Event Design and shot by Rebecca Hollis Photography, we noticed these dainty little wreaths that doubled as head crowns. We just had to share how Alisa made them and used them as a backdrop to decorate the food table. In case you missed the shoot, you can view in all its glory right here.

Directions for crown:

Wrap vines into a ring or wreath shape about the size of bride’s head or flower girls’ heads. Use floral wire to secure the ends and hold in the wreath shape. Use cutters to trim wire ends.
Wrap the wire in twine and tie in a knot.

Directions for Jasmine Wreath Backdrop:
Wrap vines into a ring or wreath shape in different size diameters. Use floral wire to secure the ends and hold in the wreath shape. Use cutters to trim wire ends. Wrap the wire in twine and tie in a knot. Secure a branch the width you want your backdrop for the ceiling if you are creating this indoors or from something overhead outdoors. We used wire to hold our branch up. Use clear fishing line to dangle the wreathes at different lengths from the branch. Trim ends.
