Cupid’s Arrow Wedding Inspiration
Here’s a shoot featuring a lovely marriage between modern and industrial that we just can’t get enough of today. These colors have us all googly-eyed and feeling hopelessly romantic, while Jenna Henderson‘s chronicling of the day via photographs have us falling hard for this chic juxtaposition. Kennedy Occasions‘s lush floral arrangements do this shoot so much justice and they were the perfect, bright pop of pinks to accompany such a fun styled shoot.
From the photographer and shoot designer, Jenna Henderson: We drew our inspiration from Cupid’s arrow, finding fun ways to sneak the arrow into our decor including an arrow through the bouquet, cake, and on the paper goods. We also loved the romance of the lush florals and rich colors, and to contrast the softness, we selected an urban industrial location and a chic Edison bulb lighting installment. The result is a romantic, intimate wedding full of industrial chic touches.
With such a fun lighting installment overhead, we totally welcome contrasting styles like this. Finding an industrial space for your wedding venue doesn’t mean that you have to go the modern route when it comes to style and design. Stick to your guns if you want to dress a contemporary space in sumptuous linens, dreamy centerpieces, and romantic elements. The huge plus about venues like this are that they tend to carry a very neutral color palette, so design it to your heart’s content.
