Burning Man Festival Wedding Inspiration
Today’s festival shoot is daring, electric and seriously sparkling. With a rock ’n’ roll meets disco vibe, there are eye-catching details around every corner of this bedazzled beach canvas. Incorporating a bright collage of geometric confetti-like shapes, the invitation suite is almost holographic at first glance. Marbled fudge shards beg to be noticed as they sit in a tight cluster atop a 5-tiered whimsical wonder that is simply magnetic. (The cake may be sugar coated, but our words sure aren’t!) Feathers, sequins and other shimmering effects abound in the myriad of scenes brought to us in this shoot, and the wild + free theme is tied together perfectly with a pink smoke bomb that exceeds all expectations. We are oh so thankful for Mr & Mrs Unique, The Bijou Bride, and Studio 1208, the creative geniuses that brought this vision to life!
From the creative director and stylist, Mr & Mrs Unique: I have always had a big love for the festival scene. There is something about the combination of people, music, art, food and style that makes my heart sing. The Burning Man festival really celebrates self- expression; with their huge art installations and out-there fashion. Taking this as inspiration, we wanted to create a new ‘festival bride’ style; mixing high-end bridal designers with high street and festival fashion brands.
From the creative director and stylist, The Bijou Bride: We wanted to create a bridal fashion shoot that throws caution to the wind and encourages you to embrace your true self – glitter, plaited mohawks, feathers and all!
Studio 1208 also did a great teaser shot of the shoot, which you can see here:
