Bohemian Luxe Wedding Inspiration
Late fall/early winter is one of our favorite times of year for more reasons than we could ever begin to list here. Alyssa McElheny Photography and Horrocks Market put together this bohemian luxe inspired shoot in the woods, and it’s truly boho at its finest. Not only is this styled shoot a show-stopper in general, but the majority of it was handcrafted by the photographer herself, including the bride’s skirt, cakes, floral arrangements, and yarn murals.
From the photographer, Alyssa McElheny: As a photographer, being able to dream of and whip up and tweak and construct my own shoot was absolutely incredible. I’m realizing that wedding styling and design are huge passions of mine. Lately, I’ve been feeling especially inspired by the darkness and colors and textures of this season (fall/winter) and I wanted to create a miniature wedding based around these ideas. I’m realizing more and more that fall weddings are my absolute favorite to shoot.
This styled shoot was dreamt up to be luxe and boho and dark (except, of course, for the blush skirt worn by the bride), with plenty of gold, rich and colorful foods, furs, and greens greens greens. I also loved hand crafting the bride’s ensemble, cakes, floral arrangements, and yarn murals.
