Black and Gold New Year’s Eve Wedding
If ever there’s a time for an abundance of gold and glitter, it’s New Year’s Eve. A team of all-star vendors in Portland including Hazelwood Photo, J29 Events, and Swoon Floral Design recently styled a shoot that’s sure to inspire and lead us into the new year with plenty of excitement.
From the planner, Nicole of J29 Events: When I think about New Years Eve, I think about the excitement, and the romance in the air. We say goodbye to what last year held, and excitedly look forward to the surprises of what lie ahead in the new year. The ambiance is very reminiscent of the eve of a wedding. While day-dreaming about that “feeling” I envisioned a bride and a groom… and the bride wore a black wedding dress.
With the help of a classic New Years Eve color palette of gold and black, we designed an exquisite black tie affair for the couple ready to start out the New Year committed to one another. Our goal, to inspire non-traditional couples by presenting a wedding that is both classic and elegant, while straying from the beaten path. Nothing shines as bright as a couple in-love, who is ready to marry their soul mate.
